Interpreting Emerging Technology Trends In Urban Communities 2008

Key Blogging Perspectives & Insights

  • Jobs that are emerging from new technology 2007 / 2008. Many of these jobs have never, ever existed before. And some of them are being created before they can be aptly defined. Knowing that they exist requires a proactive technology friendly mindset (Listen to my audio on emerging technology jobs in 2008). Everyone needs to start elevating the conversations on current technology, even school teachers, administrators, security guards, football coaches, flea market sellers, artist, doctors, lawyers, etc.
  • A heck of a lot of computer oriented people have connected many dots in the last 30 years in the computer industry. The good thing is that, great advances in technology usage is always pushing toward user-friendly gadgets. So what I'm saying is that it's o.k. that you have not kept up. Because of the many, many innovations in digitally interactive multimedia learning methods and styles, it has become fairly simple and easy to learn how to use many new features and such.
  • If I had one thing that I would remind those who are starting to become serious bloggers in order to promote a business, a product or a service is to always, and I mean each day remember that your blog is perhaps the key component representing your project to the world....It's essentially your own web channel. And it's YOUR business. YOU must be PROACTIVE in seeking whatever resources, knowledge or questions that it takes to move it forward. It's YOUR blog. Not mine or anyone else's. I suggest as new bloggers, that you should be asking Blog Professor questions all the time. If you do this, then your learning curve will accelerate very fast!

Students. Teachers, Parents, Relatives & Local Business Owners...

Can choose one professionally designed blog to sell their various products that are sitting in the back room or garage. There is much wealth in things that people are not using, that they continue to keep around or hold onto.

Our student bloggers under the guidance of expert blogger Sy Bounds will customize teachers & parent blogs for free. Parents or relatives only need to get involved by looking for things to sell in the basement, garage, attic,or what about old toys and sports gear. Some clothes will sell as well. But we must form a team to inspect for good quality products.

Because we intend to funnel all products thru....craigslist and other key search engines that Sy Bounds has discovered. There are all types of useful, little used products in peoples homes, garages and businesses. These products will generate thousands or millions of dollars for westside schools.

Each blog will be cleverly customized by advanced blogging students (and yes we have them). They're not all in outter suburbia somewhere. Michele Clark student tech-preneurs being trained by Sy Bounds and Pastor Rodgers are more than capable of producing ...Promotional blogs can be navigated as easy as sending email. Technology resistant business owners will appreciate the help!

Will this make millionaires? I don't know, but you can be sure that a lot of students and families are going make some ends meet. And this is a lot more creative than sending the youth out to sale candy bars. In fact they can sell even more candy bars using technology. We must start using more than just our legs and feet. Your brains require just as much exercise.
  • There are many honest and creative avenues to earn money online. We shall seek them out.
  • For instance our student bloggers will use digital cameras to take photos of all products (one at a time) so that we can merge the product into the business owners blog. At this point the students can help the merchant problem-solve on how to best configure the photo with the correct information, as well as a professional look. Each photo clip will cost the merchant $5.00. So if a merchant has 30 items, then we would charge him or her a figure of $150.00. That is a very low price for putting that many photos online. But when you use technology it's real easy. Therefore everyone wins. The merchant, the student, the blogging coach and the school.
  • Keep in mind that, that one merchants product will not only be seen by potential buyers on craigslist and other search engines that Sy will reveal later, but all parents, teachers, students and other local businesses who are part of Michele Clarks blogging project. Keep in mind that we're developing blogs so that we can impact he community to promote honest entrepreneurship.
  • As soon as the school population starts blogging. This will open the door to allow local supporters and businesses to place and promote their products on the blogs where people are posting most actively. Trust me, the businesses will follow the blogging. If ya'll don't blog, then other smart people will do it. The benefits will be seen in weeks and months. Student population will become tech-smart or smarter.
  • I will confer with The Mid Austin Chamber of Commerce & The Blog Store's printing arm. To create blogging decals for Michele Clark, such as: We're $$$ Supporters Of Michele Clark Bloggers.
  • We Support $$$ Michele Clark Football Squad
  • We Support $$$ Michele Clark Woodworking Classes

  • Now here's another way to get students & parents involved the process. Tell the whole school to collect a list of things that they want to sell online. As you can see by now that blogging is not the tiny little annoyance that some folks thought it was. Using blogging, podcasting and other web.20 multimedia platforms and features have the capacity and the ability to transform any alert thinking community. Yet, these are still choices. And 2008 will demand an answer from those who dare to lead!
